Series of poetry films | Finland 2025 |  English – English subtitles

This video work is an outcome of a sustained exchange between my cinematic practice and the poetry of Nigerian artist Taiye Ojo. Conceived and developed during the 2025 Saari Residence in Finland, the collaboration takes form as a series of experimental poetry films in which voice, image, movement and temporality are held in active negotiation.

The project creates a shared field of resonance where spoken word shapes rhythm, framing, and duration, while moving images refract the poem, exploring memory and presence through subtle frictions between language and the Finnish landscape, allowing meaning to emerge through attention and shared sensory experience.
